Dove la natura incontra il silenzio
Maison Nina sits in Chiaverano, on the ridge of the Serra Morenica, with views that on clear days stretch all the way to Monviso and the Basilica of Superga. A carefully restored farmhouse where the landscape comes inside, the materials tell the passing of time, and every detail has a real story behind it.
We are Simona and Luca, and Maison Nina is us.
Simona is the welcoming heart of the house. An Ayurvedic massage therapist, passionate about yoga, cycling, reading and wholesome food — she brings the same care and attention to everything she does that we put into restoring this farmhouse. Not the rigid precision of straight walls and perfectly aligned details, but an attention to atmosphere, to materials, to what nature and time have left behind. Every space has been thought through to make you feel at ease — not in a flawless place, but in a genuine one.
Wine is something we both love. I have started my own tasting journey and keep discovering the wines of this territory with growing curiosity. Luca, with his ONAV certification, is the more technical one — but the enthusiasm is the same. If you want to talk (and share a few glasses) about Erbaluce, Carema or Barolo, we’re ready.
I will be your main point of contact for everything else — tips on what to see, where to shop, which path to take, or simply for a chat.
We love to travel, and welcoming guests from around the world is our way of continuing to do so.
Chiaverano sits at the crossroads of three major hiking routes — which is no coincidence. This corner of Piedmont has been a place of passage, rest and renewal for centuries.
The Cammino di Oropa Canavesano covers around 85 km in 5 stages, through forests, villages and open views. The Cammino di San Carlo has one of its main waypoints right here in Chiaverano. The Via Francigena runs along the scenic ridge of the Serra Morenica, one of the most beloved detours among pilgrims of every era.
Around the house, a dense network of trails and cycling routes — between the Serra Morenica and the lakes — suitable for trekking and mountain biking alike, on both dirt and tarmac.
Maison Nina opens today with its first apartment: an intimate, light-filled space for those who want to take their time — walking, looking out, cooking, simply being.
We are already working on the second apartment, which will offer a different perspective on the same landscape. Coming soon.
